The Albuquerque Federal Forum Project scrapbook documents the Public Affairs Forums held in Albuquerque in 1938 and 1939. The forums were created by the U.S. Office of Education as a vehicle for adult education about civic matters. This program was tied in with Works Progress Administration and New Deal initiatives.
The scrapbook has uniquely hand decorated wood covers. It contains a poster for each of the local forums, as well as news clippings about specific lectures, publicity, biographies for each of the 1938 lecturers, a narrative and statistics about the 1938 program, feedback questionaires from the 1938 season, and a letter from Ray Paschal of the U.S. Office of Education describing his experience with the program.
