Scope and Contents

The video consists of rough footage of the AIM Columbus Day Parade protest in Denver, CO, 1992. The parade, celebrating the Quincentennial of the Columbus expedition, was sponsored by the Denver chapter of the Italian-American Federation. Most of the footage consists of the activities in a park near the capital building, where a number of speakers addressed the crowd. Among the speakers were Ward Churchill, Russell Means, Regina Brave, and Robert Anderson. The remainder of the footage consists of interviews with activists, as well as several rough production cuts of narration and titles/credits.
