This small collection contains photocopies of letters written by William C. Leonard to his uncle, N.W. Leonard of Middleboro, Massachusetts. The letters were written between 1876 and 1901 while William C. Leonard lived in New Mexico.
The letters deal primarily with sheep ranching, selling dry goods and real estate investment/rental.
Of particular interest, these letters discuss the real estate market price fluctuations in New Albuquerque.
The collection also contains some letters written in California, Colorado, Illinois and Kansas.
