Scope and Content

From the Collection: The collection contains oral history interviews with Dorothy Hughes, conducted in March 1989 in El Paso, Tex. by Rose Diaz. In the interviews Hughes discusses her time as a graduate student at the University of New Mexico, writing the fifty year history of the University, her writing career, and her friends and family.

There are no transcripts for the interviews.

The collection also includes one signed letter from Hughes to her publisher, 1964.
