Grass conditions - cutting grama for hay. Frank Silver - woodcutter for mills. Father (Harvey Whitehill) engineer for Breeman Mill. Silver City supplied from Old Mexico. Jimmy Hughes robbed pam saloon & escaped on White Stage to Globe. Burros Spring and Caesar Brock. Whitehill Wells. Marching Apaches from the Sacramentos Mts. to San Carlos. Manuel Taylor kills Chinaman with a rock. Begins story of Billy the Kid.
