Scope and Contents

Mrs. Wetherill discusses: making pottery, arrowheads, drums, baskets; Navajo wedding ceremony; making black dye from ki; to the Navajos it was not a crime to steal but a crime to get caught; buying the twin Navajo babies so one be killed; because of drought in Chaco taking the stock and spending the summer of 1902 in Creede, Colorado - her third child born there.
