Scope and Contents

The road from Pueblo alto to Aztec. Sacred significance of bird feathers. The trick of making the feathers walk up a stick. Medicines used by medicinemen. Two copper bells and copper plate found at Bonito. Navajo secret names. The Navajo children have no clothing until they have to go out and herd sheep. Materials used before they had wool. Did not learn weaving form the Hopis of the Spanish. Deer trap. Mountain lion skin for bow case and quiver. Surgery performed by medicineman.
