Mrs. Wetherill discusses: Preparations for the trip from Mancos to Chaco in 1897 and the trip itself. Prairie dogs and socks. Bands of sheep from Colorado wintering at Chaco and denuded the country of grass. Establishing camp at Pueblo Bonito. Difference between Navajo sheep and others and difference in the wool for weaving. Learning to weave a small blanket and finding it 30 years later in California.
