Scope and Contents

Mrs. Wetherill tells of: taking Tomasitas horse; no burials at Chaco expect for a few infants and the one man covered with turquoise surrounded by 13 women with crushed skulls; her opinion of why Chaco was abandoned; trip along the Elk Mountain Fault; proposed to by Mr. Wetherill after crossing the San Juan in flood; traveled to California and was married in Sacramento on Dec. 12, 1896.
