Scope and Contents

Lou Blachly a letter from and portions of the diary of John Henry Tunstall and Maurice Fulton has a few comments. The letter is dated Oct. 15, 1876, written from Santa Fe and is in regard to Tunstall looking for land to purchase so he can go into the sheep business. The Diary entries were written in California in Feb. & Mar., 1876 when Tunstall was looking for land there to raise sheep. A colonel Jack Hayes suggested he try his sheep raising in New Mexcio.
