Scope and Contents
Mrs. Spillers cam with her family to New Mexico from Jack County, Texas in 1887. Stayed the first winter at Pinos Wells, then the family settled on the Tularosa. Stories of the bad winter of ’88. Married Mr. Spillers in 1891. He worked for Montague Stevens. Moved to Oklahoma Territory in 1892. Mrs. Spillers is a sister of Reed Dean and Mrs. H.R. Kimball.
