Scope and Contents

Mr. Reeves describes a freighting trip to Roswell with is brother-in-law J.E. Woodson in two wagons to Roswell when the temperature was 32 degrees below zero. It took them seven days to return from Roswell to Elk and the snow was axle deep. They ran out of food and ate parched corn and got sick. Mr. Reeves sings old songs for the remainder of the tape.
