At age 9 hunted horses 50 miles from home. Hailstorm. Horse wrangler at age 13. Description of a general roundup. Mexican stole horse & saddle & is sent to pen. Scared burro runs away with sister. Father’s killing by Fine Gilleland and the rangers killing of Gilleland.
