Scope and Contents

Mr. Ligon describes some of the birds in his collection of over 1500 bird skins, half of which are from SW New Mexico. Discussion and description of Spotted Owl, Golden Eagle, melanistic Red-tailed Hawk, Mountain Plover, Prairie Falcon, rare highly colored birds, etc. Major Brooks, birdpainter.
