Scope and Contents

Came to New Mexico in 1893; trip on horseback from the L Slash Ranch east of the Rio Grande to Dugan, Arizona in 1922; discusses his tally book from the Heart Bar Ranch; breaking horses for old man Shaw; worked for the Bar Cross at Cutter; stories of Felix Miller; worked with Johnny Mullins who later had a wild west show, One Hundred and One Shows; attended the trial of Oliver Lee and Jim Gililland at Hillsboro; begins telling of the killing of Tom Hall.
