Born January 25, 1858 - was 99 years old when this recording was made. Came to San Marcial in 1884 from Colorado City, Texas with the Vermont and Rio Grande Cattle Company. Killing of the Hall boys; killing of Burleson by Tom Hall; Bronco Bill; John Chisum; Black Jack Ketchum; Henry Brock; Walter Birchfield and Scarborough.
