Scope and Contents

Had 800 head of cattle on the Jornado but well went dry and moved them to the Rio Grande. Lost half of them there from starvation. Cattle in the San Andres got the creeps in 1906. Good grass on the Jornado at that time. Worked with W.W. Cox. Thought Selman killed Garrett. Moved to the Datils. Moved then to Seven Lakes country and then Zuni Mt. and furnished beef fro the Zuni Mt. Logging Co. and then Ft. Wingate and the Gallup Coal Co. Bought cattle from Henry Brock. Was shot by Pierce Rice in Silver City - did not press charges. Finally moved to Oklahoma.
