Scope and Contents

The first couple of minutes of the tape is Lou Blachly speaking about the Pioneers Foundation. The remainder of the tape is Lou Blachly reading letters written by John H. Tunstall to his family in England. These letters were at this time in the possession on Maurice Fulton. The letters were written from Santa Fe and dated August 15, 17, 24, 25, 1876 and September 1, 1976. The letters concern Tunstall’s plans for buying land and cattle.
