Scope and Contents

Born November 5, 1854. Came to Lake Valley in 1882. Husband had store in Lake Valley for two years and then moved to Rio Grande - home there washed away in flood. Some description of Lake Valley and Apache killings. She drove from Lake Valley to the Rio Grande (Colorado, now Rodey) with a team for supplies once a week.
