Scope and Contents

Side #1: February 28, 1957. Lou Blachly reads the life of Caesar Brock he has written, Chapter One and Two, which include: Brock was raised on the Miller plantation in Texas; kidnapped at age 7 and taken to Dona Ana by Robert Wilkes whom he believes was John Wilkes Booth; his so-called mother married Bauman who was killed by Wilkes; she then marred Yamens and they went to burro Springs.

Side #2: March 2, 1957Chapters Three, Four, and part of Five of the Life of Caesar Brock including: the McComas massacre; cavalry company on his land; Geronimo; home on the Mulberry; moved to Gold Gulch in the ‘80’s after well went dry from the earthquake; contracted silicosis in the mines; lived in a cave and cured the silicosis while digging a 730’ tunnel.
