Scope and Contents

Mr. Blachly tells about: receiving $300.00 from the El Paso Hist. Soc. to record Jack Stockbridge; the trials and tribulations of raising money for the foundation; out of town visitors and skunk under house; getting Popejoy and UNM to support the foundation; an epilogue was taped a year later and Mr. Blachly tells of his illnesses and getting a $2000.00 allocation from UNM to be paid him as salary. Side 2: April 24, 1956 About five minutes of Mexican music and the remainder blank.
