Scope and Contents From the Series: The Field Notes Series is comprised of research notes compiled by Gile in a three-ring binder. To better preserve the notes, the material was removed from the binder and divided into four folders. These are arranged by date. The binder included the name "Organ Mts. Fault Notes" along the spine, and "Notes" on its front. Most these are typed with handwritten notations on each page. Some notes are entirely handwritten. Numbers on individual pages correspond to Gile's sequential series of notes....
