Letters to M.M. Gillam, 1894-06-26 - 1894-12-12
Content Description
Letters received primarily by Manley M. Gillam regarding his association with the Pecos Irrigation and Improvement Company. The letters, sent during 1893 and 1894, are from investors in the Pecos Irrigation and Improvement Company, Charles Eddy, William Bonbright, and C.C. Blodgett. The letters discuss opportunities in southeast New Mexico with the enterprise. Mr. Gillam, who was an advertising and newspaper man from Philadelphia, appears to have purchased some land in the Pecos Valley and was considering further investment. One letter in the papers is from Charles Eddy to William Bonbright and one letter is from Henri Gaullier to James John Hagerman, who was president of the Pecos Irrigation and Improvement Company.
