Scope and Contents
From the Collection:
The J.W. “Jack” Newberry collection contains letters and business paperwork relating to his horticultural work, including letters from the Stark Bro’s Nurseries & Orchards Co. There are two medals from Stark-Burbank Institute of Horticulture, two oral history tapes from his daughter and son-in-law Virginia and Scott Taylor, and some oversize material.
The collection also contains 108 photographs which subjects include Newberry’s daughter Virginia, other family members, local children, his home and the surrounding area of Picacho.
