Placed in this series is material relating to Pickens' wildlife management activities at the Valle Grande Ranch for the Baca Land and Cattle Company who operated out of Abilene, Texas. Homer was hired by James P. Dunigan, the owner, in 1969 and worked on the ranch until Mr. Dunigan's death in January 1980.
