Scope and Contents
Organized into four subseries and arranged by subject matter this series contains the professional correspondence and papers of Homer C. Pickens from his career in wildlife management with various different agencies. The material reflects the years he spent with the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish, as conservation officer at the Atomic Energy Commission in Los Alamos and then at the Valle Grande Ranch for the Baca Land and Cattle Company. Also placed in this series is material relating to the wildlife management and other activities which Homer continued even after his official retirement. There is no information on Homer's work with the Clinton P. Anderson Insurance Agency. The material is arranged alphabetically by subject and then chronologically.
