From the Series: Includes numerous manuscripts and typescripts written by Gustave Baumann about his life and career; artistic philosophy and woodcut technique; life in Santa Fe, New Mexico and the Southwest; friends and fellow artists; and marionettes. Also includes examples of Baumann’s creative writing. Many of these manuscripts are undated and extremely fragmented, lacking any obvious sense of original order, and are therefore arranged topically. All manuscripts were written by Gustave Baumann unless otherwise noted.
