RSW to Col. Charles Goodnight. January 26, 1928. Seeking information on Judge J.G. Knapp's involvement in Bosque Redondo affair of 1866, and accusations cast upon him.
Charles Goodnight to RSW. February 7, 1928. Describes the dreadful activities and slaughter of cattle by Indians at Bosque Redondo in July 1866 to which Col. Goodnight was witness.

Charles Goodnight to RSW. February 13, 1928. Refers to Cove's Band. Cove eventually brought to Pueblo Colo and hanged by the Vigilante Committee. Makes suggestions how to find survivors.
