From the Collection: Collection contains records from the City of Santa Fe Planning Commission and the Historic Design Review Board. Records deal with review and approval of proposed changes to land use or buildings, ensuring that changes meet with city codes, covenants, and zoning regulations. The Historic Design Review Board actions pertain to designated historic areas, while the Commission addresses all concerns within the city limits including capital improvements and urban development projects. Collection includes photographs to visualize problems and/or status of specific projects. Street addresses, names of residents, and dates are given for most projects.

General

These folders deal with the Small Cities Grants Program as well as other Santa Fe City Urban Development Projects. The documents include appraisals for properties that need to be rehabbed or are to be torn down for possible purchase by the City of Santa Fe for parkland, or new single or multiple dwellings. The properties are all in the Alto and Hickox Street areas on both sides of St. Francis and the dates of the paperwork run from 1967 to 1979. Some maps and photos of the subject properties are included.
