Note, handwritten and undated by ELB. "Destroy most of my writing, (stories, articles, etc.) at home in Taos. They are too badly written and not my maturer thoughts or beliefs or ideas."

"The Painting of To-morrow" by ELB. Century Magazine, April 1914. A discussion of Post-Impressionism and its influence in the direction of art and ELB's personal, artistic philosophy.

"Origin of the Taos Art Colony" by ELB. El Palacio, 20 (May 1926). Arrival of ELB and Phillip in Taos as the beginning of Taos Art Colony.

"A Great Big Rainbow Trout" by ELB. Newspaper unknown, September 26, 1929. A Rio Grande fish tale witnessed by Victor Higgins, Ward Lockwood, Spud Johnson, and Don Mondragon.

"Address on Taos Painters." August 10, 1940 (8 sheets). Handwritten outline of address, description of the typical Taos artist, and brief biographies of several artists including Dasburg, Lockwood, Adams, Younghunter, Gaspard and Fechin.

"Meem" by ELB. June 13, 1953 (5 pages). Three typed versions of address to honor John Gaw Meem and his work. One photostatic reproduction of handwritten lecture (copied from microfilm?).

"An Interview with Ernest L. Blumenschein" KOB Radio, Albuquerque, NM, November.1958 (19 pages). Biographical information, especially the early years. Continuation on tape by HGB with extensive biographical information on ELB, his accomplishments, painting philosophy and technique, etc.

Note, handwritten (4 pages). Ca 1958(?).
