Scope and Contents The collection consists of material related to ranches and ranching in northwestern New Mexico, primarily in the vicinity of Crownpoint. The collection includes research notes; recollections of ranching and life; photographs; copies of land documents; correspondence; extracts of federal census returns related to ranching families; maps; genealogical information; and photocopies of articles on local history.
