Scope and Content Included in the collection are correspondence, meeting minutes, membership lists, calendars, reports, and project files from the New Mexico State division and local New Mexico branch chapters of the American Association of University Women. A number of scrapbooks from New Mexico branches are also included in this collection.

Abstract The Anthony Women's Civic Club of Anthony, New Mexico -Texas was organized in April 1947 to seek out ways to make Anthony a cleaner, healthier, and more enjoyable community in which to live. The club is no longer in existence and the records demonstrate the founding of the club in its early stages. It also includes records of administrative activities of the Central New Mexico League, details of work on various issues and activities, and background information on studies conducted to adopt formal positions on issues.
