Abstract The collection contains the personal and business papers of Tajique, N.M. homestead ranchers, John S. and Jane Clack.

Scope and Content Collection consists of naturalization records from New Mexico courts in the form of loose documents and docket books. Records include Declarations of Intent, Petitions for Naturalization, and Certificates of Naturalization. Loose documents also contain some correspondence of district court clerks concerning naturalization.

Abstract Parametrix conducted the cultural resource survey and mitigation of adverse effects for the BNSF's Second Track Project, near Belen, NM as a major component of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) Section 106 compliance process. Shawn Kelley, a cultural anthropologist and ethnographer interviewed scores of individuals, recording their oral histories related to the railroad, Abo Canyon, and the surrounding area.

Scope and Content The collection consists of the Territorial and New Mexico District Court records for Torrance County, New Mexico (1904-1942). The bulk of the material covers the years 1905-1916. Included are record books (1905-1941) and case files (1904-1942). Record books consist of various dockets (1905-1941) and court proceedings record books (1905-1911). Dockets include criminal (1906-1911), civil (1905-1911), and judge's civil and criminal (1907-1923, 1936-1941) volumes. Case files include criminal cases...

Scope and Content Collection consists of the records of Torrance County, New Mexico (1905-1957). Included are records of the county clerk (1905-1932), assessor (1905-1923), treasurer (1910-1922), sheriff (1909-1937), county commissioners (1923-1935), justice of the peace (1909-1957), and superintendent of schools (1907-1923). Clerks records consist of oversize license registers.
