Scope and Content This collection contains files and reports generated by the Office of Institutional Research and its subsequent manifestations from the 1940s forward. The information in these files and reports arises from internal studies of the operation of the university. Additionally, beginning in the 1990s, the office administered various public service agencies allied with the university. Scope and Content This collection contains the official bulletins of the university (beginning in 1898), class schedules (from 1923 forward), recruitment materials, commencement programs, enrollment statistics, and miscellaneous material pertaining to students, faculty, and curriculum.

The post of registrar first appears in the university bulletin for 1902. The name of the office has not varied since then.
