Abstract This collection of sound recordings was donated to the John Donald Robb Archive of Southwestern Music by Antonio Garcia. The music is mainly from San Juan Pueblo, New Mexico, with a few songs of the Huichol of Mexico. In addition, several songs are from the Iroquois and one is from the Ojibwa or Chippewa Tribe.

Scope and Content This collection consists of the papers that relate to the law suit about the matachine dance site and the doucments supporting the application to the National Register of Historic Places. There are court documents, depositions, correspondence, maps, reports, and newpaper articles. Some of the papers are written by David Snow, who was the Consulting Anthropoligist for the historical preservation evaluation.
