This series consists of sixteen photographs of different places and subjects in Mexico during the late 19th century and early 20th century. The subjects include city views, people, landscapes, churches, and the Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl volcanoes. Most of the photographs were taken by Abel Briquet and Charles B. This series includes 59 albumen photographs from Mexico during the late 19th century. The subjects of these photographs include portraits, churches, plazas, views of towns and villages, landscapes, and Iztaccihuatl and Popocatepetl volcanoes. Most of these photographs were taken by Abel Briquet except for two boudoir cards that are attributed to James Woodsey. Some of these photographs may belong to Briquet’s albums “Vistas Mexicanas”, “Tipos Mexicanos”, and “Antiguedades Mexicanas”. ...
