Abstract
From May 1995 to June 2013, the Mesilla Valley Oral History Club convened the first Thursday of every month (with a few exceptions) for more than eighteen years. Each meeting involved a buffet dinner in the East Aspen Room of the Mesilla Valley Inn, followed by a presentation about local history and culture. Abstract
The Mesilla Valley Weavers was an organization of artists exploring and promoting all types of fiber arts in Southern New Mexico and West Texas. The organization was established in 1972 and the purpose of the guild was to stimulate interest in the artistic and technical development of the fiber arts. The club dissolved in March 2022.
