Scope and Content The collection consists of the Take Back The Night scrapbook and records of activities of other women's groups. The TBTN scrapbook contains newspaper articles and flyers documenting events and actions between 1987 and 1992. The rest of the collection contains propaganda and information on women's rights, objectives, and opinions. Abstract The League of Women Voters of Greater Las Cruces was founded in October 1967, and has since worked to register and educate voters on a variety of issues affecting Southern New Mexico. The collection contains correspondence, minutes, research, publications, and other materials generated by the League in the course of its work, spanning from its founding in 1967 through 2018.
