From the Collection:
Collection consists of typed documents produced by employees of the W.P.A. and its subdivision the Federal Writer's Project in New Mexico. Most of the collection is made up of transcripts of oral history interviews conducted with New Mexicans, and folklore and stories about New Mexico and Hispanic culture in particular.

Abstract
Electronic files and papers relating to the life and work of Las Cruces, New Mexico artist Virginia Maria Romero, ca. 1980-2018. The materials document the creative output of the artist through images of her work, files relating to her business and work as an artist, promotional materials and clipping files. Romero uses traditional materials and methods to create work that is primarily influenced by the Southwest and New Mexico cultures and environment.
