Scope and Contents Series 3 (Recorded Interviews) contains two boxes (the transcribed interviews are currently housed with Series 4, box 7) of interview transcripts and cassette tapes. Box 6 has 24 cassette tapes, comprising interviews with residents all along Route 66 from Illinois to California. Abstract The collection consists of an audio interview with Richard Wetherill II, conducted by Richard Sandlin in December 1977. The interview gives insight into the Wetherill family, relationships with the Navajo, and life in the Southwest during the early-mid 20th century.

Scope and Contents This interview surveys the life and career of Dr. Ralph P. Brower (1920-2007), an osteopathic physician of Belen, New Mexico. After medical education and internship training, Dr. Brower initially arrived in New Mexico in 1951 and practiced 10 years in Vaughn. After a brief tenure in Denver, Dr. Brower returned to New Mexico and established a practice in Belen.
