Abstract This is a copy of the field recordings made by Charlotte S. Johnson on the Navajo Reservation in 1963-1965. There are large segments of Navajo dialogue with English translations. The collection contains a wide range of songs and oral histories that provide an in depth view of Navajo religion, society and history.

Abstract The Riordan records include business and personal correspondence relating to Denis Mathew 'Matt' Riordan's milling and railroading businesses at Flagstaff, Arizona, in the 1880s. Additional correspondence reflects Riordan's family and personal relationships after he left Flagstaff in 1897. Some material relates to Riordan's position as the Fort Defiance Indian Agent (Navajo) from 1882-1884.

Abstract The Harmon Percy Marble Photograph Collection is comprised of photographs primarily of Native American individuals and groups. Photographs focus on Navajo, Hopi, Pueblo, Sioux, and Menominee tribes.

Abstract The materials in this collection represent Leland Wyman's research on Navajo myths and sandpaintings. It includes source material written by Gladys Reichard, Berard Haile, and Franc Newcomb, as well as illustrations of weavings by Hasteen Klah and slides of Native American arts and crafts.

Scope and Content This collection consists of 1 scrapbook containing pencil drawings of 16 Navajo clan masks which were drawn by Marietta Wetherill between 1886 and 1889. The scrapbook also includes color drawings of the 16 clan masks, plus an additional color drawing, which were done by Marietta at an unknown, later date.
