Abstract
This small collection documents the social and political conditions, the accomplishments, setbacks, and outlook of/for hired farm workers, migratory farm workers, and sharecroppers in the United States in the 1960s. Rural poverty, wages, child labor, health and safety issues, housing, and education are prevalent themes, illuminated via annual reports to the Board of Directors of the National Sharecroppers Fund and ephemera produced by the United Farm Workers Organizing Committee.
