Abstract This collection contains three volumes of a detailed manuscript written by George Peter Hammond entitled "Navajo-Hopi Relations," which addresses the history of these two tribes between 1540 and 1956. Content Description The collection includes photographs of boarding schools, people, and places taken during Margaret E. Laird's time as teacher at Indians Schools in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Lawton, Oklahoma, and Rice Station, Arizona. Also included are images of people and school buildings in Santee, Nebraska and Fort Mojave, Arizona. C.C.
