El Paso and Southwestern- Aranch to Dawson, owned by Phelps- Dodge- old cans went to Mexico. Short line- Estancia Valley- a wet cycle in the valley- farming. Santa Fe Central- 1903 portion through Tijeras Canon- Frost Rd, head E- Sandia Knowlls, grade still visible in town of Hagen- NW of Golden. 1907-ish Estancia Valley farming declined. New Mexico Central- RR to Willard. Santa Fe Northwestern- to haul logs out of the Jemez. 1921-22 Started in Bernalillo.
