Foundry (Bombrook); City on two sides of an area- city took it in- "Roswell Ordinance" the "sin" part of the program. Central and 2nd str. - ANB building, old buildings, new sandstone. There was farming and orchards- in 1930 there was a drought and the water table dropped and then there was no more orchards. Sheep raising- destroyed them by nibbling off and trampling roots. James Toulouse Sheriff Pat O'Grady- Where Easter day Street comes from- Boatwright none- Mayor- DKB Sellers candidate (lost) stage trips from Santa Fe to Albuquerque- one at top of La Bajida, one at Algadones.
