Biographical/Historical:

Anne Harding Spoehr was a student at Sarah Lawrence College when she attended the 1937 field school at Chaco Canyon with her brother Charles Harding III. The photographs document some of the sites that she worked on as well as artifacts and fellow field school participants. Anne was involved with the excavation of BC 51. She is mentioned in the Vivian Archives in 1719 and 1732, and an excavation report that she completed can be found in VA 1710.
