General
An overview of the participants, presentations, and discussions is available in the proceedings reports for each conference, as well as a daily agenda. For this conference there were approximately twenty people in the rrom over four days (October 16-19) they attempted to synthesis information from the previous five conferences, and to determine evidence meant for a broader interpretation of Chaco. They worked on a consensous or disagreements for future discussions, and to bring to publication a book of this material. The final day (October 19) was an open forum and is on tapes 11-13. Additionally, there are three interviews regarding the Capstone conference summarizations and the history of both the Chaco Synthesis Project and the Chaco Project. The interviews are with S. Lekson, Tape 4; Sebastian, Tape 5; and G. Vivian, Tape 9. Of note: the sessions often used visual aids such as slide presentations, maps, book images, and outlines of discussion on a blackboard.
