Scope and Contents
In 2002, Bob Powers, Archeology Program Manager or the Intermountain Regional Office, organized a dinner to honor former Chaco Project Staff members. The dinner was held at the Petroleum Club in Albuquerque. The dinner was a reuinion for Chaco Project staff, and was at the end of the Chaco Capstone Conference on October 18, 2002. This event was tied to the 2001 DOI Excellence in Service Citation presented to retired Chaco Center staff at the dinner. Disposable cameras were put on all the tables and the attendees took photos. People in the photographs include: Nancy Akins, Dave Brugge, Karin Burd, Cathy Cameron, Patricia Crown, Anne Cully, DwightDrager, James Ebert, Dabney Ford, Art Ireland, LouAnn Jacobson, Jim Judge, Stephen Lekson, Florence Lister, Jerry Livingston, Joan Mathien, Peter McKenna, Earl Neller, Larry Nordby, Margaret Obenauf, Ernest Ortega, Natalie Pattison, Loren Potter, Willow and Robert Powers, Catherine Ross, John Schelberg, Mollie and H. Wolcott Toll, Marcia Truell, Carla Van West, Gwinn Vivian, Wirt H. Wills, and Thomas Windes.
This series is arranged by negative number, and documents the awards presentations and general photography of Chaco Project staff by other staff using disposable cameras at the reunion dinner following the conclusion of the Chaco Synthesis Project - Capstone Conference. The images are represented by large color thumbnail reproductions on paper, digital images, negatives, and prints. Of note: as of the writing of this entry, July 2024, the prints have not been located.
