Scope and Contents
Documents the ongoing activities of the administrative office of the Remote Sensing Division. Researchers will find cooperative agreements, contracts, requisitions, procurement forms, correspondence with vendors and contractors, and project reports that document some of the aerial mapping and remote sensing consultation projects with which the division was involved. A group of folders labeled “Archive Listings and Maps” contains records of the old file keeping system for a large portion of the collection. There is also documentation on the creation, publication, and distribution of in-house publications, including requests for publications, reviews, and directories of bibliographic citations and publications. Other types of material contained in this subseries include documentation of conferences, policy memos and publications from the NPS, and materials concerning the division’s move to a new facility.
