Correspondence, reports, ground control data, maps, and other working file material for projects performed in non-NPS locations are in this subseries. A few of the major projects in which the Remote Sensing Division was involved include the Navajo Indian Irrigation Project (NIIP), National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska (NPRA), Senior Smokey Missions, Barboursville Ruin located in Virginia, and Warm Springs Special Study. There is also general material that may apply to multiple or unknown projects, such as state and county maps, aerial photography data, archeological site records, EROS feasibility study files, photograph overlays, and USGS quadrangles.
